Established in the year 1958, Rajshekhar Construction has successful completed several esteemed projects over the years to establish itself as major player in the industry. Besides other prestigious works, we completed the approaches of the 1st Bridge over River Brahmaputra at Saraighat near Guwahati under PWD Assam. Thereafter, we completed a series of Guide bunds and approaches throughout the state of Assam. We also undertook construction of R.C.C. Bridge with well sinking and Built up Girder. We then diversified to Irrigation Projects and completed Barrage works over River Champamati under Irrigation Department Assam. We also, in the name of our sister concern, undertook the work of Construction of Earthen Dykes at Kydremkulai Hydro Electrical Project under Meghalaya State Electric Board and thereafter, highly satisfied with our performance, we were awarded the work of construction of Earthen Dykes at Khongdong and Umrangsho for Garampani Hydro Electric Project under NEEPCO.

We also started construction of RCC Multistoried buildings and completed most of the building in Regional Engineering College at Silchar. Thereafter, we also started undertaking highly technical job such as construction of Multi span RCC Bridge with well foundation, Pile Foundation and Pre-stressed Concrete Girder. Throughout this period of transformation, we continued to do a series of normal works like guide bund, Road etc. We also started taking works like Power House for Hydro Electric Project under ASEB and completed another major Irrigation Project with Intake Well in the centre of a turbulent river. We have completed recently one multistoried RCC Building namely Constructions Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Bhawan for Assam Legilative Assembly and Construction of KAR BHAWAN at Dispur.

We have also undertaken RCC Bridge with R.C.C. Bored cast in situ pile of 550mm dia and completed the same in record time. We had successfully completed the building works under MECON (INDIA) LTD. for LPG Bottling Plant at Mirza for INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LTD. In the recent time, we are doing some prestigious work like Cold – Storages and as associated contractor of other.

In the year 2003-07 we have constructed three buildings in newly build Capital complex at Dispur, Guwahati as an associate contractor of M/s Unity Infraprojects Ltd, Mumbai. Work of Income Tax office building at G.S. Road, Guwahati again as an associate contractor of M/s Unity Infraprojects Ltd, Mumbai. There is an investment boom in Guwahati and as a result, lots of activities in real estates are coming up in Guwahati.

Currently, we are executing work of IIT. Hostel No. 8, which comprises of 2200 Piles of 500 mtr dia length of about 17.5 mtr each. We are also executing 1x37.2 MW Lakwa Waste Heat Recovery Project (Ph-I), Assam, Lakwa under BHEL, Kolkata. Further, we are also constructing a gas based power plant for OIL under BHEL in Duliajan, Assam.

We have full organization capability together with qualified technical persons and adequate plants & machineries to undertake any nature of civil work and electrical work in any places in India, particularly in Northeastern region.

North-East Mega Food Park

Rajshekhar Constructions Pvt. Ltd. is also a partner in the SPV formed to develop a food based industrial park styled as “The North-East Mega Food Park Ltd.” in a PPP model in Assam. The park will be spread over an area of 50 acres and will house a number of processing units owned by different business houses. Developed plots of land will be provided to the large and midsized units while Common Design Factory Sheds will be provided to small scale units. The park will provide common facilities such as water, electricity and effluent treatment apart from specialized facilities like cold storage, ware housing and logistics.
